'Star Factor Final 4' Battle For The Last Time on December 5 Live at Ynares Sports Arena

The Star Factor Final 4: (from left) Eula Caballero, Morisette Amon, Christian Samson, and Ritz Alzul.

On Sunday, December 5, the nation will witness the birth of the new teen star sensation as TV5 airs the grand finals of the first ever TV5's artista search "Star Factor" live at Ynares Sports Arena in Antipolo, Rizal.

3 girls and 1 guy comprises the Final 4 of Star Factor. They are:

Eula Caballero, 15, Cebu

Ritz Alzul, 16 , Pampanga

Morisette Amon, 14, Cebu

Christian Samson, 17, Bulacan

The grand winner will bring home at total cash prize of P1 million tax free, 1 million worth of management contract with Talent5, a 4-year college scholarship from AMA Education System and a house and lot from Moldex Realty.

Here's an excerpt of the interviews with the Final 4 during the press launched held at the Studio B of TV5 Complex in Novaliches yesterday, November 28:

Question: Ini-expect ba nilang makapasok sa Final 4?

Eula: As for me, sobrang surprised, and I never expected naman talaga.

Kasi maraming magaganda, may talento.

Kasi, from Day 1 po, she really did improve. May looks, may personality, and very, very good.

Eula: For me, I'll vote for Christian because I know that he got looks and talents.

And then, gusto ko pa pong maging ka-close siya.

Eula: Gusto ko pong maka-work is si Tita Anabelle Rama because she's like a mother to us. And maybe kung magka-work na kami, magiging bonded kami and I'll get to know her more as a Cebuana also.

Every day nag-i-improve kami. We get to look better and better, may improvement kami physically at sa mga talents namin. And every day, we're getting ready for this industry. Sa anumang puwedeng harapin namin dito, I can say, handa na kami.

Morisette: I believe na kaya naman namin, and yung advantage namin is we're fresh, we're young, raw pa ang mga talents namin, kaya marami pa kaming in store to use for the future.

Star Factor is hosted by Ruffa Gutierrez, with Audie Gemora, Joey Reyes, Raymund Isaac, Ryan Cayabyab, and Annabelle Rama serving as Starmakers.

Kokey@Ako Airs Final Episodes This Week

They are yet to take their final bow this week but as early as now, the cast of ABS-CBN's fantaserye Kokey@Ako is already missing the show, which became part of their daily routine for one whole season.

"I will surely miss Direk Wenn, Direk Ricky, Melason, and everybody I've worked with because I enjoyed their company during shoot, during standy time in the dressing room while waiting for our next take. I will also miss portraying Jackie because her character is very natural and very real," said the Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga.

If Toni will miss the people behind the show, her co-star Vhong Navarro, on the other hand, will miss their playtime and bonding in between takes.

"I will definitely miss the fun moments, exchanging jokes, imitating Kokey and Kekay, as well as the adlibs and punchlines we blurt out during takes," said the Prince of Comedy.

Meanwhile, the show made a different impact on reel and real life couple Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco as they recalled valuable lessons learned from fellow actors on set.

"I learned to respect every individual, be it human or alien because he is created by God. Also, I learned to love my job more because if you love your job, you wont get tired of it," shared Melai.

"I learned to become more professional because Kuya Vhong and Ate Toni set such good examples. Even though they are big stars already, you wont see them complaining about work. They study the script, the character, and listen very well to the instructions being given by our directors," explained Jason.

Everyone must definitely watch the finale week of Kokey@Ako especially after much kept secrets have already been revealed - Belat's true identity and Lois' disguise as Princess.

As the real Bruce returns, who will win over Jackie's heart? The guy she has always loved or the guy she has learned to love?

Meanwhile, the kukurikabukan forces get even stronger which puts Kekay into much peril. How will Kokey protect his younger sister? Will the aliens finally invade planet Earth? Will Jackie's family ever be reunited?

Don't miss the finale week of Kokey@Ako airing before TV Patrol on ABS-CBN.

Charice Ranks 7th Among the Best Guest Stars of 'Glee'; Fil-Am Darren Criss Tops the List

Popular US celebrity website Entertainment Weekly (EW) ranked Filipina singing sensation Charice as the seventh Best Guest Star on the phenomenal Fox TV show Glee.

In the 'Glee': Ranking the Best Guest Stars article, which counts down the top 15 appearances on the show since its first season, Charice ranked higher than some of musics finest, such as Britney Spears (9th), Josh Groban (11th), Eve (13th) and Olivia Newton-John (15th).

Charice, who is said to appear in 10 episodes, plays Sunshine Corazon, a Filipina exchange student. She first appeared on the shows second season pilot episode.

EW said the following about the 18-year old David Foster and Oprah prodigy:

The tiny powerhouse is perhaps the one age-appropriate rival who makes Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) nervous (which is why Dame Berry sent her to a crack house instead of the choir room). As exchange student Sunshine Corazon, she added another ballad to the New Directions repertoire with a powerful version of 'Listen' that was so impressive, it caused Vocal Adrenaline to snatch her up before her first McKinley practice.

Glee is already past eight episodes, but Charices much-anticipated next appearance remains a top secret. Even so, speculations spawned that the young diva might belt out the Celine Dion classic Because You Loved Me in a forthcoming episode.

Occupying the number one spot on EWs list is another artist with Filipino blood, the newly signed up Glee cast member, Darren Criss.

The half-Filipino, half-Irish Potter Musical YouTube wonder was described as the most anticipated guest star on the show, playing an openly gay student from Dalton Academy, Blaine.

Although his role is being raved about - a mentor and possible love interest for Kurt (Chris Colfer)" - EW cited, his rendition of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream - which is currently smashing sales records - would make anyone weak in the knees.

Robin Padilla After 10 Failed Marriages: "Sobrang naniniwala kasi ako sa pag-ibig!"

Showbiznest just attended Robin Padilla's "Star Studio Plus: IDOL" Bookazine grand presscon at Via Mare Oyster Bar in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell.

Robin, at 41, is still oozing with charisma - one trait that made him a lady's man until now. The "Idol" of Philippine showbiz was at his good mood, greeted all the Kapamilya, Kapuso and Kapatid, and gamely answers all the questions thrown by invited press. He even raffled off one motorcycle for the press. Idol!

Here's the excerpts of his interview:

On Star Studio Plus IDOL Bookazine.

On being tagged as Idol: "Yung tawagin ka pong Idol ay talaga namang nakakakilabot.

On his 15 serious relationships (10 of which ended in marriage and divorce) : "Sira ulo kasi ako pag inlove.

On his major regret in life: "'Di naman pagkakamali pero yung pinagsisisihan ko talaga eh nung nag-droga ako.

On his latest India trip with wife Mariel Rodriguez: "Marami po kameng mga lugar na pinuntahan ngayon.

On his relationship with Mariel: "Ako po kse ay napakaselosong tao.

On their plan to have a child: "Lahat naman po ng nag-aasawa eh gustong magkaanak.

So plano po naming gawin yung early next week. Baka po January."

On his daughters Queenie and Kylie: "Kasama po nila ako magmula nung dumating ako last November 20.

On Queenie and her rumored-boyfriend Ejay Falcon: "Nagugulat nga po ako nung nagsho-shooting kame ng pelikula.

On Willie Revillame and Mariel's rumored transfer to TV5's Willing Willie: "Wala po kameng tampuhan ni Willie.

On his stand about reproductive health and condom (he is currently endorsing trust condom): "Kasundo ko na po ang santo Papa sa pag-e-endorso ng condom. Heheheh.

Willie Revillame, former host of the defunct ABS-CBN show "Wowowee" speaks about the new case filed against him, TV5 and his production outfit WilProductions, Inc. by his former TV network ABS-CBN.

The Kapamilya network filed a P127 Million copyright infringement case before the Regional Trial Court of Makati on November 24 (see related story HERE).

In last night's episode of Willing Willie, his new show on TV5, Willie expressed his sadness and said he can't help but wonder why ABS-CBN keeps on filing law suits against him despite his willingness to reconcile with them.

Read below his full statement:

Ayaw kang pabalikin.'

"So, binibigyan ako ng isang araw na show, once a week."

Pero this time, lumaban na tayo.

"Kapag nahinto, magso-show kami diyan sa labas. Diyan tayo magsama-sama, kahit walang telebisyon!"

Meanwhile, on his facebook account, Atty. Ray C. Espino, TV5 President, publicly announced his stand on this new case filed by ABS-CBN against TV5 and Willie Revillame. He said, "THE BATTLE FOR WILLIE CONTINUES. NOW COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT RAW. HALLER!!! DIDN'T THE SUPREME COURT DECIDE WAY BACK IN 1999 THAT "THE FORMAT OF A SHOW IS NOT COPYRIGHTABLE" AND THAT "COPYRIGHT DOES NOT EXTENT TO THE GENERAL CONCEPT OR FORMAT" OF A SHOW. MORE IMPORTANT, WILLING WILLIE IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM WOWOWEE. IT'S INCREDIBLE THAT EVEN THE SEGMENT OF DJ COKI IS BEING QUESTIONED!!! HOW DESPERATE."

ABS-CBN Claims Willie Revillame Plagiarized 'Wowowee' in 'Willing Willie"; Files P127 Million Copyright Infringement Case

In yet another twist in the exchange of court cases between ABS-CBN and its former talent, Willie Revillame, the network filed a P127 Million copyright infringement case versus Revillame, his production outfit (WilProductions, Inc.) and ABC 5 (now known as TV5) before the Regional Trial Court of Makati on November 24.

In a 33-page complaint, ABS-CBN claimed that Revillame and his co-defendants unlawfully infringed on ABS-CBNs copyright over its show, Wowowee, citing section 172.2(l) of the Intellectual Property Code (IP Code). ABS-CBN stated that as the producer of Wowowee, it is the legal owner of a valid and subsisting copyright over each and every one of the Wowowee episodes and is thus entitled to protection against those who steal its work.

ABS-CBN alleged that Revillame's new show Willing Willie on TV5 is so closely similar to Wowowee leaving no doubt that Revillame and the other defendants deliberately and intentionally imitated Wowowee to steal the goodwill that Wowowee has built over the past 5 years of airing in ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN claimed that despite the new show and segment titles, Willing Willie is undeniably a copycat of Wowowee. Among the acts of plagiarism listed in the complaint are: (1) Willing Willies opening song and/or dance number led by its host; (2) Wowowees BIGA-TEN versus Willing Willies Big Time Ka; (3) Wowowees Willie of Fortune versus Willing Willies Willtime Bigtime, which contain portions where the contestants tell their personal stories and showcase their talents before they play a singing and/or trivia game; (4) the dancers/characters of Wowowee are also appearing in Willing Willie, most notable of whom is April Congratulations Gustilo; and (5) the set design, stage, studio viewers seats lay-out, lighting and camera angles of Willing Willie are also strikingly similar to Wowowee.

ABS-CBN alleged that ABCs act of broadcasting of the infringing work Willing Willie has caused and continues to cause irreparable damage to ABS-CBN. WilProductions, Inc. meanwhile produces the show and is also liable, according to ABS-CBN. Also included as defendant is ABC President Ray Espinosa.

Aside from seeking an award of damages in the amount of more than P127 Million, ABS-CBN also seeks for the issuance of a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and/or a Writ of Injunction to restrain Revillame, ABC and their other co-defendants from further producing and airing the infringing show Willing-Willie.

ABS-CBN claimed that this is a serious act of plagiarism, and observed that the theft of intellectual property has recently come to the fore in this country.

'StarStudio Plus: IDOL' Captures Robin Padillas One-of-a-Kind Journey

With a life that has fascinated millions from his breakthrough starrer Hindi Pahuhuli ng Buhay in 1989, Robin Padilla has cemented his status as one of the most indelible icons and recognizable idols of all time. At his peak, Robin was christened by the entertainment press as the lalaking Nora Aunor because of the kind of mania that accompanied his phenomenal rise. And in Robins case, it seems that the public never tires of learning more about the man.

ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc. addresses that clamor with the launch of the first ever issue of StarStudio Plus, a brand extension of the popular monthly magazine StarStudio. StarStudio Plus: IDOL is divided into three sectionsRobin Padillas past, his present and the future. No less than a team of investigative journalists and a slew of talented lifestyle writers have joined forces and genius to come up with a descriptive, easy-to-digest yet compelling portrait of the star.

Each account is supported by beautiful, throbbing photographs captured by master lensman Jun de Leon, one of the stars earliest mentors and a friend of long standing.

Learn about Robins growing up years with a gang of rowdy brothers, a nurturing mother and a father whom he openly worshipped. One vivid memory of Robins past was the assassination of his father, the late Governor Casimiro Roy Padilla Sr. in 1988 when the boy who would be known as local showbizs Bad Boy was nearing 19.

Unravel never-before-published anecdotes about Robins entry into the scene at a time when the biz was lorded over by the so-called matinee idols. The image of an action hero clad in leather jackets, cowboys hats, and berets, with greased hair and boots was soon being copied by teenage boys. Robins success surprised even he himself. Hindi ko pinangarap ang stardom. Pang-pogi yon.

Never has Robin Padillas confessions been so revealing than the ones documented in the pages of StarStudio Plus: IDOL. The star remembers the reel-life persona spilling over into real life. Ayoko nang makulong ulit, he says of the prison years.

But what is a Robin Padilla tome without a section dedicated to the stars colorful, checkered love life? And if your knowledge of it dates back to his romance and marriage to Leizel Sicangco, StarStudio Plus: IDOL offers exclusive information on the women who got involved with this showbiz Casanova other than the ones that reached the press. Other sections of this special edition bookazine explores other facets of Robins present and future: the road to Islam, his special father-and-son bonding moments with youngest child and only son Alih, the marriage to Mariel Rodriguez and how Robin hopes to be remembered.

Packed in 104 pages, StarStudio Plus: IDOL is a searing yet enjoyable account of one mans continuing journey made even more palatable by photographs taken by Jun de Leon from India to Camarines Norte side by side milestone photos he has taken of Robin through the last twenty years and more snaps from the personal library of the actor.

This is simply Robin Padilla as youve never witnessed before.

Star Studio Plus: IDOL out now at all magazine stands, bookstores and selected supermarkets nationwide.

Charice's "Charice Home for Christmas" TV Special to Air on GMA-7; Taping Postponed Due to Charice's Stomach Flu

Charice is set to star on her own Philippine TV special titled "Charice Home For Christimas" but, yes, the TV special will be produced and air on GMA-7 and not ABS-CBN, the TV station who discovered Charice some years back via "Little Big Star".

This weekend, November 27, Charice is scheduled to come home and start taping for the show but due to her current situation, Charice, regretfully, can't go back home and might not pursue this project. According to her doctor, "She is suffering from dehydration caused by a recent stomach flu."

Here is GMA-7's Official statement regarding this concern:

GMA Network today received an official statement from Ms. Grace Mendoza, manager of Charice Pempengco on the postponement of the singing star's television performances and commitments in the Philippines.

"Filipino singing star Charice will not be returning to her homeland this weekend for several previously announced TV performances and appearances.

"The singer, according to her physician, is 'suffering from dehydration caused by a recent stomach flu.'

"'I want to apologize for disappointing my fans and supporters in the Philippines but I have been advised by my doctor to rest for the next couple of days,' commented Charice.

"GMA Network regrets not being able to do the planned Christmas special with Charice at this time but understands that her well being is first and foremost.

"The Network on the other hand is glad to announce to all her fans and followers that Charice has committed to do a TV Special with the Kapuso Network as soon as she is able to come home."

PHR Presents "Alyna" Extended Until January 2011

Who would have thought actress Kaye Abad would emerge as a competent villain after many years of playing sweet and "pa-tweetums" roles?

Kaye has been the resident bad girl of hit afternoon drama Precious Hearts Romances Presents Alyna where she plays Shaina Magdayao's rival and tormentor.

This has led to the rumors that their stormy relationship is for real, Kaye being an ex-girlfriend of John Lloyd Cruz, Shaina's current beau.

Kaye clarified she is not at odds with Shaina, who has become a friend since they worked together in Rubi. So 'yung mga eksenang may sampalan, 'pag rehearsal tawanan yan. Lumalabas ang pagmamaldita, pag take na." she said.

Yet Kaye admitted she still feels nervous playing the antagonist as people may hate her for it. So far, she said people are able to separate the real Kaye from Lilet.

'Yung iba natutuwa dahil something new yung role dahil 'yun 'yung hindi ko masyado nagagawa. Yung dati kasi puro iyak, puro pa-sweet," she explained. Playing the role of Lilet is indeed a feat for Kaye. She must convince Dominic (Jason Abalos), the man she hurt, to love her again.

Another challenge for Kaye is showing her sexy side in Alyna, which has featured intimate yet artistically shot scenes before. Recently, she was seen in a two-piece bikini in an entire episode.

Shaina, meanwhile, continues to be compared not just to Kaye but actresses from the rival program. The young star chose to go the high road when asked to react to write-ups saying she is less sexy than her counterparts.

It's about how she carries herself, yung demeanor nya as a person, mga decision nya in life. That's what makes her sexy," she said.

The actress also maintained she is not threatened by comparisons. "I have nothing against anyone. I see it as healthy competition."

All these issues are coming out because of the success of Alyna, which continues to rule the national TV ratings according to global media specialist Kantar Media. With an interesting story and riveting performances from its cast, the show is in a league of its won in the afternoon timeslot.

Viewers are expected to stay tuned to Alyna these coming weeks as a huge typhoon is set to hit Rancho Del Carmen. Similarly, a "storm" will threaten the foundation of Alyna and Dominic's relationship. Saddened by the bond between Alyna and Dominic, Rex (Sid Lucero) falls ill and turns to Alyna for care. Alyna takes care of him in secret, prompting Rex to hope for reconciliation.

Find out how Dominic and Lilet will react to this in the afternoon drama of primetime caliber, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Alyna, from Monday to Friday, after Juanita Banana on ABS-CBN.

GLEE Season 2 'Furt' Recap

Someones getting married! Kurts dad and Finns mom announce they are getting married and Kurt is ecstatic. He immediately starts planning the wedding before it even registers in Finns brain whats going on. I just love Burt. He references Lost and is just an all around cool guy. Finn sure is a confused boy. Hes losing his cool factor and the leadership he once held is dwindling. With Sam in the picture, the rest of the kids no longer look to Finn like they used to. Sam is busy being overly sweet and nice to Quinn while he proposes to her with a promise ring. Im still holding out hope that hes bi or something.

Burt isnt the only one getting married. Sue is too! To herself. In a blue tracksuit wedding dress. Its pretty fab. Sues mother (Carol Burnett) comes to town to visit her girls but they are less than thrilled to see her. The Nazi hunting mother that left them doesnt inspire a warm welcome. Sue does however consent to sing a duet with her and they perform Ohio? Dang look at Carol go. Shes still got some amazing pipes. Sue happily marries herself and takes the time to tell her mother just what a bully and a bad mom she was for so many years. The good thing is, it made Sue stronger and thats why we have the Sue that we have today.

So Kurt is still being bullied by Karofsky. Seeing how this is affecting him, the girls from glee who have boyfriends get together to try and encourage their men to stand up to Karofsky. Some of the guys are hesitant; Puck is on probation and Finn doesnt want to get involved, but when the school refuses to do anything, Mike and Artie step up to the plate. It ends pretty ugly. Karofsky sends Mike flying into Artie who in turn sails right out of his chair. I gasped out loud and stared wide eyed as Sam jumped in to kick some ass. Even Puck looks shocked at what is going down during the locker room brawl.

Kurt, Finn and Burt start practicing for the wedding at Mckinley. New Directions will be the band and Burt and Finn need to work on their dance moves. While rehearsing, Burt observes Karofsky harassing Kurt and asks him whats going on. After some prying, Kurt finally admits that Karofsky threatened to kill him. Burt flips out and runs into the hall to confront him. And by confront, I mean Burt uses his elbow to pin Karofsky to a wall. He goes to Sue who is still the principal and demands she do something. Sue is a victim of bullying herself and wastes no time in expelling Karofsky.

The wedding is an emotional happy affair. The kids sing Marry You down the aisle and Burt and Finns mom gives touching speeches about how happy they are that they and their children have a chance to be a happy family together. Finn, realizing he needs to step up his game in the step brother field, waits for Schue to finish murdering Michael Bubles Home, and takes the stage. He apologizes to Kurt and embraces their brotherdom of Furt and sings Just The Way You Are (the Bruno Mars version) to him.

Its all happiness and smiles while everyone is dancing together until school the next day. Kurts family learns that Karofsky is back in school after the school board determined there was no proof to his violence. Its a great portrayal of how some schools dont do enough to combat bullying. They dont see it as a big enough deal, they dont see it as their problem, and so horrible things can happen. Sue is so disgusted that she resigns as principal and goes back to her old job in protest. Kurts parents decide to help their son and give up their honeymoon so he can afford to transfer to Dalton Academy.
