GMA-7 "Matinding Marso" Lineup of New Shows

GMA Network announces their line-up of new programs, tv specials and movie this month dubbed as "Matinding Marso".

All About Eve - The Philippine version of the hit Korean tv series starring Iza Calzado, Richard Gomez, Sunshine Dizon, Jean Garcia, Eula Valdez, Mark Anthony Fernandez and Alfred Vargas. Pilot episode on March 9, 2009 under the Telebabad block.

Zorro - The Philippine version of the Mexican legend starring Richard Gutierrez in the lead role. Pilot episode on March 23, 2009 under the Telebabad block.

Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? - The first leading role of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal in the top-rating Sine Novela of GMA. Pilot episode is on March 2, 2009 under Dramarama sa Hapon.

Chil Princesses - The newest Koreanovela starring Park In Hwan, Kim Hae Sook, Kim Hye Sun & Lee Tae Ran to hit the afternoon block. Pilot episode is on March 16, 2009 under the Dramarama sa Hapon block.

Gokusen 3 - GMA�s latest Japanese series starring Nakama Yukie and Matsumoto Jun. Pilot episode is on March 23, 2009 under the Dramarama sa Hapon block.

SRO Cinemaserye - Thursdays after Fated to Love You beginning on March 12, 2009.

OFW Diaries - GMA�s newest Public Affairs program hosted by Kara David. Pilot episode is on March 13, 2009 after Saksi.

Wow Hayop - An animal show under the Bilib Ka Ba Nights of GMA. Pilot episode is on March 18, 2009 after Fated to Love You.

Joey�s Quirky World - The newest outdoor game show from Japan replacing Takeshi�s Castle. Hosted by Joey de Leon every Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Cool Center - The newest kapuso program every Saturday night. Hosted by Eugene Domingo and Anjo Yllana. Pilot episode is on March 14, 2009 after Imbestigador.

Binibining Pilipinas 2009 - Coronation night on March 7, 2009 under the SNBO block.

Walang Pera - A GMA News and Public Affairs Special hosted by Mike Enriquez with a special participation of Marian Rivera. Showing on March 22, 2009 under the SNBO block.

Rhian Ramos is One of Richard Gutierrez Leading Ladies in Zorro; Other Leading Ladies Named

Zorro has finally found his leading lady.



It was announced yesterday afternoon, February 2, during Zorro's story conference that Richard Gutierrez will be paired again with La Lola star Rhian Ramos.

This will be the fourth time that Rhian will be paired up with Richard. Rhian's first TV project was Captain Barbell, which was portrayed by Richard. This was followed by Lupin and Codename: Asero, although it was really Heart Evangelista who Richard ended up with.

Last night, February 2, on the trade show of GMA-7 to advertisers at A. Venue Main Hall in Makati, it was also announced that aside from Rhian, the other leading ladies of Richard in Zorro will be Bianca King and Michelle Madrigal.

TJ Trinidad, one of the newest talents of Richard's mother and a former Kapamilya talent, will play the main villain in Zorro.

Zorro is slated to start taping this month and will have its pilot episode in March only on GMA-7 Telebabad.

PAANO BA ANG MANGARAP?

Starstruck 1st season winners Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras will be reunited as a love team in this GMA soap and remake of the classic movie. They will be joined by Star Circle Quest 1st season sole winner Hero Angeles. Supporting casts include Tirso Cruz III and Bing Loyzaga under the direction of Joel Lamangan.

ANG BABAENG HINUGOT SA AKING TADYANG

This could be the last project of controversial and top-rater love team Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. Based on a graphic novel by Carlo J. Caparas, �Tadyang� will be helmed by Bb. Joyce Bernal (Dyesebel, For the First Time).

ALL ABOUT EVE

Another Philippine remake of the hit koreanovela, All About Eve will feature PMPC Star Awardee for Best Supporting Actress Sunshine Dizon and International Emmy nominated Iza Calzado. Their leading man could have been Diether Ocampo but later replaced by Richard Gomez. Supporting casts include Pangako sa �Yo stars Jean Garcia and Eula Valdez. The other male lead will be revealed soon.

TOTOY BATO

Another Carlo J. Caparas classic, Totoy Bato will be adapted to television and will be played by none other than Robin Padilla. The who will be the bad boy�s leading lady? Regine Velasquez as he requested. Manny Pacquiao will also star in this tv series to be directed by Mac Alejandre.

ZORRO

GMA bought the rights to adapt the Mexican legendary fencer for Philippine television. And who play the lead role? None other than GMA top leading man, Richard Gutierrez. His new leading lady will be announced soon.

Richard Gutierrez to Play "Zorro" on His Next TV Project

GMA-7 has bought the rights to televised the local version of Zorro, the fictional Mexican character written by Johnston McCulley in 1919.

According to source, Richard Gutierrez was chosen by GMA-7 management to play the lead role and is now attending a fencing lesson.

This will be Richard's next Kapuso project after Codename: Asero.

There is no report yet on who will play the love interest of the local Zorro.
