Time Horizon Pictures, in cooperation with Abracadabra Productions and Underground Logic proudly brings "Thelma" - an indie film about a young runner�s determination to reach her goals and dreams.
"Thelma" tells a story of a simple young girl from the province named Thelma whose family is beset with challenges when she discovers her uncanny gift of speed. Her talent then opens doors for her - to elevate her family�s situation and change the course of her own life. But to do that she will have to run- against all obstacles, against personal hindrances, against shadows from her past, and against her own self-doubts.
Starring Maja Salvador in the title role, the movie also stars Tetchie Agbayani, John Arcilla, Eliza Pineda, Sue Prado, Elma Muros and Jason Abalos.
Helmed by Paul Soriano (Chasing Manila, A Journey Home) and distributed by Star Cinema, the movie is set to open in theaters nationwide on September 7.
