He's a good host. No one can deny that. But Luis Manzano's TV career wouldn't stop from there. He now plans to spread even further his career...in acting.
So, aside from hosting a talent reality show Pilipinas Got Talent and showbiz oriented talk show Entertainment Live!, Luis will now join the teleserye bandwagon as he is set to star in the upcoming ABS-CBN's soap tentatively titled "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" with Angelica Panganiban, Sam Milby, Zanjoe Marudo, KC Concepcion and Gretchen Barretto.
�In the works na yung soap. May nakita nga akong tweet ng headwriter ng show na patapos na raw sulatin yung pilot episode. So malapit na magsimula yun.� he revealed.
�Si Angelica nakasama ko na sa Rounin. Tapos Dyosa boys yung dalawa pang male stars, sina Sam and Zanjoe. Si KC nagkasama kami sa isang episode ng I am KC noon. It�s my first time to work with Gretchen. But I�ve watched her on Magkaribal and I�ve interviewed her a few times sa E-Live, so I feel that we�d get along easily.� the actor-host detailed.
Luis will also do a movie project with Star Cinema titled "Tuhog". The said movie, reportedly, will star Pokwang and Maria La Del Barrio stars Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee.
�May movies na nakahanda with Star Cinema and Viva Films. Medyo pangit pakinggan pero isipin niyo po muna bago niyo husgahan. Ang title ng movie na prinesent sa akin ay Tuhog. Weird kasi green pakinggan, pero may relevance ang story. Basta nothing sexual or romantic, iba yung atake. Hindi ko pa masyadong ma-explain kung anong genre niya. Tignan na lang natin how it will play out.� he said.
