The second award grabbed Imburnal was the NETPAC award, or the best Asian feature film screened at JIFF. Imburnal bested 12 other countries for this award.

The Audience Award, on the other hand, was snatched by Maeda Tetsus "School Days with a Pig." The Japanese film took home 2 million Korean won.

The Daum Special Jury Prize was won by Algerias "Inland."

The other Filipino film that participated at Jeonju was Lav Diaz "Butterflies Have No Memories."

The nine-day film fest was held from April 30 to May 8, featuring 200 films from 42 countries.
