DYESEBEL Reigns the Lead in the Primetime Race

The pilot episode of GMA-7's "Dyesebel" was able to surpass the pilot episode of Marimar with an impressive 44.9 percent. The pilot episode of Marimar, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera�s first tv series, registered 36.6% last August 13, 2007.

However, Dyesebel was not able to beat Darna�s pilot record of 47.1 percent registered last April 11, 2005. Darna still holds the record of the highest rating for a pilot episode, followed by ABS-CBN�s Pangako Sa �Yo with 46.5 percent.

ABS-CBN�s �Maligno� starring Claudine Barretto, Rafael Rosell and Diether Ocampo debuted at no. 10 last night with 17.5 percent. The suspense-series was put on a later timeslot because of some violent scenes.
